Whether you’re a dedicated yogi thinking about adding some strength training into your routine, or an avid strength athlete looking at ways to gain that competitive edge, there are serious benefits to be had by combining these two forms of exercise or just wanting a new way to move your body. Reduce the gaps in your fitness and create a more well-rounded body.

Over the years, we have worked with hundreds of golfers and tennis players to improve their flexibility, core strength, balance, and mental focus. For golfers, we specialize in helping you have fantastic fairway shots and flow on the greens. For tennis and pickleball players, we help you develop fearless forehands and graceful footwork.
-
Restore and Flow Yoga offers both Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The first half of class is an all-levels flow connecting breath with movement, allowing the practitioner to align, stretch and strengthen through gentle yoga poses. The remaining 25 minutes of class is devoted to restorative poses on the mat, utilizing props (blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps) to guide the body into a relaxed state. Essential oils are offered at the beginning to help open the sinuses and at the end to evoke deep relaxation.
The MAC Fitness Department is proud to offer a variety of mind and body services designed to complement and enhance and expand your health and wellness routine. Integrate a Sound Bath meditation session or reiki session into your acts of self-care and relax – let someone tend to you for a change.
Touch The Body. Heal The Mind. Calm The Spirit.
-
Reiki
A new and exciting addition to our offerings, Reiki – Japanese for “universal life force energy” – is a meditative modality used to calm, center, and balance. It can be so difficult to give yourself permission to rest. We see Reiki as an invitation to relax, where the only task at hand is to lie quietly, accept the care and attention of the practitioner and - following their lead – allow yourself to be immersed in an act of nurturing.
The practitioner transmits energy through their hands – touch is often used, but not required – to allow qi, or life force, to flow through the recipient’s body.
With Reiki every recipient will feel a unique and individualized effect. A feeling of flow and movement is common, and recipients are often treated to a sense of peace.
